In Cambridge, we welcome inquiries from University of Cambridge Part II students and anyone seeking a placement or internship. Email Prof Miller at [email protected].
We are able to take undergraduate researchers and REU students to work at the University of Florida through mid-2026. Please email Dr. Christina Salerno, postdoctoral lab supervisor, [email protected] to see if we have any research positions available! We work on animal behavior, morphology, and evolution using the leaf-footed bugs as our model system. At the University of Florida, academic credit is available for at least the first semester, and then many students apply for funding through the University Scholars Program, McNair Program, and others. We also have funded NSF REU positions available -- these are highly competitive internships paid by the National Science Foundation and are only for U.S. citizens. We have high standards for our undergraduate researchers and interns, and the sky is the limit in terms of success. Our former undergraduate researchers are now Ph.D.-level scientists, professors, physicians, veterinarians, musicians, physical therapists, and so much more. Science is for everyone.
