Over 240 undergraduate researchers, volunteers, and interns have worked in the Miller Lab since 2008
Join us.
For these next two years, we are able to take undergraduate researchers and REU students to work at the University of Florida as well as the University of Cambridge. Please email Dr. Christina Salerno, postdoctoral lab supervisor, [email protected] to see if we have any research positions available! We work on animal behavior, morphology, and evolution using the leaf-footed bugs as our model system. At the University of Florida, academic credit is available for at least the first semester, and then many students apply for funding through the University Scholars Program, McNair Program, and others. We have two NSF REU positions available -- these are highly competitive internships paid by the National Science Foundation. We have high standards for our undergraduate researchers and interns, and the sky is the limit in terms of success. Our former undergraduate researchers are now Ph.D.-level scientists, professors, physicians, veterinarians, musicians, physical therapists, and so much more. Science is for everyone.
